Overview

We are looking for a talented Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic internal Information Technology (IT) team.  In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate, and will focus on creating and enhancing business applications, automating workflows, and developing insightful dashboards and reports. Additionally, this role includes SharePoint administration to support and integrate these solutions within our broader IT environment. A hands-on approach to application development, data management, and system integration is essential, with an emphasis on driving productivity and efficiency across the organization through the Power Platform suite.

Responsibilities

Power Platform Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online to meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Customize and enhance SharePoint sites and solutions, integrating them seamlessly with other platforms.

Application Development:

  • Develop low to moderately complex application code that meets defined requirements.
  • Build non-complex deployment packages, use issue tracking software, source code control, and perform supporting activities related to application development projects.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in data analysis, T-SQL writing skills and system administration.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, data storage, and data administration.

API and Data Integration:

  • Integrate data from various sources using APIs and data integration tools, ensuring data consistency and integrity across platforms.
  • Develop custom connectors and workflows to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Platform solutions, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets, taking full ownership of tasks and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work with end users to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their productivity and experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates and recommendations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing to the success of the group while also being capable of working independently.
  • Develop and manage project plans, coordinating with stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.

Qualifications

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, preferred
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power Platform Development
  • Proven experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
  • Develop canvas apps and Power Automate flows using various data sources SharePoint, SQL following all the phases of the SDLC process.
  • Proven knowledge of HTML, PowerShell, Power Query. DAX
  • Strong project management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and interacting with end users.
  • Familiarity with API integration and data integration tools
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft on premise and cloud technologies.
  • Understand business requirements and translate technical design specifications.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - 155,000 per year.
