We look forward to meeting driven, passionate and collaborative individuals to join our established and growing tax practice. We are seeking Tax Managers with 5+ years of venture capital-focused tax experience in public accounting. CPA licensure is required.
Tax Managers work closely with our Senior Managers, Directors and Partners to provide innovative tax solutions for our growing client base. We service a wide range of venture capital clients influenced by our Silicon Valley roots and our deep experience and familiarity with venture-based companies.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing venture capital returns as well as helping provide visibility to large capital transactions and waterfall calculations along the way. You will be responsible for providing thoughtful feedback to preparers, corresponding with GP clients and back-office fund administrators, and managing overall projects within the venture practice of the Firm. Mentoring team members and transferring knowledge to those learning under you is highly valued by the Firm.
This position can be based out of our San Francisco, Palo Alto or San Jose office, or remotely. We also have satellite offices in Portland, San Diego and Sacramento that offer smaller coworking environments. For those able to access an office, we support hybrid work schedules that blend in-office and working from home. Remote employees will be invited to join us in the Bay Area, California throughout the year for meetings and special events.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000. This pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area region. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their geographic location.
