Overview

To help discover what area of public accounting interests you most, our Rotational Accounting Associate Program allows you to experience multiple service lines through a rotational process. Associates can gain first-hand rotational experience in our Accounting & CFO Advisory, AuditFamily Office, & Tax service lines. Associates declare their department of interest after working in different practice areas, building a well-rounded foundation before committing to a specialty. Associates will develop the technical, professional, administrative, leadership, and interpersonal skills required for a successful career. This rotational position can be based out of our San Francisco or San Jose offices with the expectation to be in-person three days per week on average.

As a strategic member of our team, you will advise many of this country’s top entrepreneurs and their companies. Frank, Rimerman is known as the premier firm for servicing the needs of executives, founders, investors and board members of publicly traded companies and investment funds in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our environment enables you to interact directly with these high caliber clients and get a preview of what’s up and coming in Silicon Valley. We also service the needs of venture-backed and pre-IPO corporations, as well as publicly traded companies themselves.

In addition to working with these clients, you will work alongside 700+ of the best and brightest individuals in the accounting profession at one of the largest locally owned CPA firms in Northern California. We are large enough to offer you sophisticated and challenging work, yet small enough to expand your level of responsibility in your chosen practice area.

Qualifications

  • Current candidate for a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business, with an emphasis in accounting or taxation preferred
  • Final graduation date between December 2023 and December 2024
  • Educational requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) for California CPA licensure completed prior to start date
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0, with a higher major GPA preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship and we do not sponsor applicants for work visas.
