Overview

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is seeking driven, passionate, and collaborative individuals to join our growing corporate audit practice. This entry-level position can be based out of our San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, or Salt Lake City office. We support hybrid work schedules with the expectation to be in-person three days per week. The group start date will be early September 2024.

 

Our Corporate audit group focuses on emerging to late-stage startups pursuing ambitious growth and exit strategies. Most are operating technology companies scaling up and powering innovation in spaces such as software, consumer products and bio/life sciences. Our environment enables you to interact directly with these industry disrupters and entrepreneurs, seeing what’s up and coming in Silicon Valley. We support our clients beyond delivering an audit by also providing operational insights as they face market challenges. As an Audit Associate you will develop the technical, professional, leadership and interpersonal skills to establish a successful and long-lasting career.

Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings and engagement planning meetings
  • Participate in all phases of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
  • Assure reasonableness of client financials through various testing procedures
  • Utilize analytical and technical skills to complete audit workpapers
  • Help clients prepare for and evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions
  • Exercise professional skepticism while prioritizing and completing tasks
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's and/or Master's program with an emphasis in accounting
  • Final graduation date between December 2023 and August 2024
  • Educational requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) for California CPA licensure completed prior to start date
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0, with a higher major GPA preferred

The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $88,000. The pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area, including our San Francisco and San Jose offices. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their individual geographic location of work.
